Terms and Conditions

1. Services

We offer personalised acoustic and DJ services for weddings and events, including ceremony music, cocktail hour sets, reception entertainment, and full-day packages. All services are subject to availability and may be customised based on your enquiry. We collaborate with partners like Janda Events for MC support, but such collaborations are separate and governed by their terms.

2. Bookings and Payments

• Enquiries and Availability: Enquiries via our contact form do not guarantee a booking. We will respond within 48 hours to confirm availability and provide a quote.

• Deposits and Balance: A 30% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your date. The balance is due 14 days prior to the event. All payments are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST.

• Changes: Any changes to your booking (e.g., date, venue, or services) must be requested in writing at least 30 days in advance. We will accommodate where possible, subject to availability and additional fees.

• Overtime: Events exceeding the agreed duration incur $250 per hour, payable on the day or invoiced post-event.

3. Cancellations and Refunds

• By You: Cancellations 90+ days before the event receive a full refund minus the deposit. Between 30-89 days, 50% refund (minus deposit). Less than 30 days, no refund.

• By Us: If we cancel due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., illness), we will provide a full refund and recommend alternatives, such as Janda Events partners. We are not liable for consequential losses.

• Force Majeure: Neither party is liable for delays or failures due to events beyond control (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics). We will reschedule where possible.

4. Liability and Insurance

• We carry public liability insurance up to $10 million. However, we are not liable for indirect losses, damage to property, or third-party issues (e.g., venue restrictions).

• You are responsible for ensuring the venue has adequate power, space, and permissions for our setup. We are not liable for delays caused by venue or weather issues.

• All equipment is provided by us and tested; backups are available, but we recommend event insurance for comprehensive coverage.

5. Intellectual Property

• All music, playlists, and custom arrangements created by us remain our intellectual property. You grant us permission to use photos/videos from your event for promotional purposes (e.g., portfolio, blog), unless opted out in writing.

• Website content, including blogs and images, is copyrighted © 2025 Elliott Love Sounds. Unauthorised use is prohibited.

6. Conduct and Responsibilities

• You agree to provide accurate information in enquiries and respect our team during events.

• We reserve the right to refuse service if behaviour is inappropriate or safety is compromised.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Disputes will be resolved in Queensland courts. We comply with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), ensuring fair dealings and remedies for faulty services.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms; changes will be posted on the Website. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
